The formation of Telangana Navnirman Sena has made non-Telangana population in Hyderabad insecure and Telangana intellectuals uncomfortable.

Advocates supporting the Telangana cause said they are forming Telangana Navnirman Sena (TNS) on the lines of Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. It will act against those who are against Telangana, they said.

As media channels began telecasting Friday’s clash between lawyers of Coastal and Rayalaseema and the Telangana Navnirman Sena proposal , insecurity gripped the ‘settlers’ .

‘‘ We saw the visuals of MNS activists beating non-Marathi population in Mumbai and damaging property. I am worried about the safety of my family and business after I saw the news about Telangana Navnirman Sena,’’ K Subhakar, who has been running a travel business at Chandanagar , said.

Meanwhile, BJP supporters prevented supporters of a unified Andhra Pradesh from taking out a rally at Kukatpally. About 50 ‘Samykhyandra ’ supporters, who took out the rally near JNTU at Kukatpally were sent back by the BJP supporters.

So far 35 people have lost their lives during the 11-daylong huger strike by TRS chief for Telangana cause. Public and private property was damaged but no one was attacked.

‘‘ Telangana movement is against methods of MNS. Our struggle is against the rulers who are against legitimate Telangana cause but not against the Andhra and Rayalaseema people who came here for livelihood,’’ a professor , N Kodandaram said.
